"This is the second time staying at Glenmorey. The Inverness room was at one end of the house and was quiet and spacious. The Aberdeen room (our recent visit) was at the other end of the house and super comfortable with a private patio and huge tub. We felt like the only ones in the home while in this staying in this room. I absolutely love it here, very quiet and quaint. "The American River Inn is a cute old hotel located in Georgetown, CA. Established in 1853 if definitely has CA Gold Rush credentials. I loved the place and just generally love this sort of walk back in time cute and classy hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the atmosphere charming. If you are going to stay in the CA Gold Country do things right and stay at the American River Inn in the heart of historic Georgetown."

"Great old school Tahoe lodge within a short 3-5min walk to the base of Palisades. The rooms are well set up and cozy with a separate living room with a kitchen. It’s an older property but clean and a great location. "

"The property is clean and located mere steps from the Palisades Tahoe village and the Tram building (and also close to the bottom of the WaSheShu lift I think). Convenient parking for one vehicle per room in the adjacent garage. Staff was friendly and helpful, though maybe a little slow on checking people in that night. Some parts of the property were undergoing renovation during my stay, so I gave the Property Condition only 4 out of five stars."
