"This was a little piece of heaven. We were in the area for a family members wedding. The house acted as a meeting spot for family to tuch basis and plan. It was nice and quiet, with beautifully lit pathways and ample outside areas to relax. The decorations in the home were done with care for detail. I highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing weekend getaway, or vacation rental. It won't disappoint. 👍😊"

"This place was private, quiet, roomy and on a lovely property. It was centrally located in the heart of Apple Hill. I was able to come and go with no issues and I loved that they had a full kitchen I could utilize. It was a little off the beaten path but still close enough I could easily access restaurants and local shopping. The owners were such a delight and very kind. I would 100% stay there again and plan to in the future! "

"The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We had 3 adults and 2 children with a 2 queen and pullout couch. Parking was easy as was the ease of access from the freeway. The free breakfast was delicious! "

"It was a good stay. The hotel and grounds were clean and comfortable. The area seemed safe too. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, you could tell that it was older as it had telephone jacks throughout, and minimal USB ports for more modern devices. We had an interesting development in the evening where water suddenly started flowing out of the bathroom ceiling vent. "The American River Inn is a cute old hotel located in Georgetown, CA. Established in 1853 if definitely has CA Gold Rush credentials. I loved the place and just generally love this sort of walk back in time cute and classy hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the atmosphere charming. If you are going to stay in the CA Gold Country do things right and stay at the American River Inn in the heart of historic Georgetown."

"This is the second time staying at Glenmorey. The Inverness room was at one end of the house and was quiet and spacious. The Aberdeen room (our recent visit) was at the other end of the house and super comfortable with a private patio and huge tub. We felt like the only ones in the home while in this staying in this room. I absolutely love it here, very quiet and quaint. "It is an historical site and the surrounding area is very interesting. An old historical mining town with a lot of history. The hotel was a super spot to stay and supposedly haunted. Well they were just as nice as the staff was."
