"Well located. Less than 10 minutes from Chicago Union Station. Large room with good room amenities."

"The staff were GREAT to me and my friend and made our stay VERY comfortable! Our room was cheap and when our tv was messed up in the first room, they moved us to another room! Breakfast was great and FREE! Very quiet! My only cons were I wish the room in the pool were a little bit more clean but other than that! PERFECT!!!"

"The location was really close to the places I wanted to see while I was in town. The staff was really accommodating and helpful. The restaurant connected to hote was really good and convenient before we had to drive back to airport. Even though i didn’t want to pay for $60 valet, it was really easy when I needed the car to take a drive. I also didn’t like the rooms windows, seems they are single pane and you get a lot of outdoor noise at night. "

"It is an old building, so there is a mild but bad smell just outside the restaurant. Maybe natural gas? I don't know what it is but it has always had the small and I have stayed here intermittently starting about 10 years ago."

"The hotel itself was great, but the constant drag racing outside at 3am got a little old. If you can sleep through anything you're going to love it here, if you're a light sleeper like me, maybe look for something else a little more off the beaten path. "

According to the amenities and housekeeping services flier we received at check in; every 2 days trash would be removed, towels and toiletries replaced and the bed would be made. Every 4 days a full cleaning of the room and replacement of all linen. We checked in on Wednesday and on Friday we received trash removal and clean towels only. We checked out on Tuesday and from Friday to Tuesday we received no housekeeping services. (No trash was removed,...

"Property could definitely use some updates. There is no elevator so if you aren’t able to do stairs, request the first level! Bistro/Restaurant was less than impressive but it was still nice to have an option onsite "
