「The bathroom had mold around the tub and shower head. We had to fix the toilet because the chain fell off and we couldn’t flush the toilet, but we didn’t feel we needed to call maintenance since it was an easy fix. The refrigerator froze the drinks we had in it and it was leaking. Breakfast was very limited with dry cereal, milk, juice, yogurt and fruit. Staff was nice and friendly.」

「The room was incredibly clean and immediately gave a comfy home vibe, as if I'd always lived there. The staff were kind and friendly, and the community in Shelter Cove overall were a treat to interact with. The Inn is right on the coast, so your backyard is basically a glorious view of the ocean and local wildlife via birds. 「The inn keeper was very nice and even upgraded our room free of charge to the corner room with a view of the town. The building is a beautifully upkept, literally Victorian style inn on the main strip of Ferndale; only 15 minutes from downtown Eureka. The dining room and bar have a homely feel with the large fireplace and friendly staff. Each room at the inn is unique in its own right and theme.
