"Gorgeous modern hotel with helpful staff and lovely rooms. The sea view was lovely as was the balcony. Really good location and a 25 min walk to the famous beach along a shaded promenade. Hotel is a 30 min drive from the main port in the North."

"Vila Lacman is a family run small boutique hotel on the hillside west of the castle (Foritca), and just above the beach club. A short walk to the square (Trg) and the port (luka) of Hvar. we discovered you can take a long set of stairs straight up to the road the hotel is on (a difficult hike with luggage ) or walk along the harbor front go right past the cafe up a short set of stairs to a walkway that goes behind an old church tower.
