「We stayed over the weekend for my son-in-law’s memorial service. The hotel advertised a pool and hot tub, so we took our grandchildren for a swim and hoped the adults could relax in the hot tub. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn’t working, was blocked off, and had no water, with dead cockroaches at the bottom. The pool was so cold it couldn’t be used either. 「The home was not very clean when we arrived. The linens were stained on the beds, there were bugs, the toilet was unsafe and unstable, and there were no washcloths, hand towels, or body towels in the bathroom. I feel bad because I have never written a poor review before. If we had not arrived late at night in the rain, I would have left and asked for a full refund. I contacted the property management company about these issues and asked if we could get a partial refund. They did respond, but...

「Such a beautiful property this was to stay in! Comfortable too! The beds were super comfortable, the home was clean and it was a perfect place to relax and spend time with family roasting marshmallows by the fire or having dinner in the covered porch outside. For us, the lake wasn’t close enough to really walk to and take advantage of, but that will not stop us from coming back to this place again and again when we visit our family here. It’s a great place place to stay! Highly recommended! 」
