"Older hotel, but remodeled nicely! First room had thre roaches upon entering, told front desk and was quickly moved to a different floor, no more bug sightings. The rest of the stay was comfortable and the beds were nice and clean. Lots of parking, although not enough spots for everyone on site and may have to park in across the street public parking area. Lots of upgrades here, modern decor, clean sheets. Water pressure is OK, water temp OK, tub is nothing special and bathrooms are small but...

"Excellent property, and wonderful, helpful staff. We had an ocean front room, which was amazing. The pool is great for kids and adults alike. The property is also located a little away from the busy part of Ali’i drive, which makes it great to relax at the end of the day after a day full of activities but is conveniently located near beaches and grocery/convenient stores. I highly recommend the property to anyone planning a trip to Kona."

"Nice, easy stay. Nothing real fancy, but plenty of room and very clean. Our flight was very delay and we did not arrive until after midnight, night guard was very helpful and got us settled in right away. "

"This property was well past my expectations in a good way. Very peaceful and welcoming. You can walk to the shopping center and other beach front resorts with ease. Be prepared to have some type of vehicle whether it’s car, scooter, electric bike etc since most of the attractions are far from this location. "

"Lovely stay, walking distance from Kahalu'u beach park (so you can avoid parking fees), and we appreciated the use of beach/snorkelling equipment. The balcony and other amenities were lovely, we would recommend staying here. "

"This is an extraordinary place, beautifully nestled at the top of a narrow tree-lined road, designed to blend into the landscape. It's high, and the view of the sea is grand. Well appointed, with a salt-water pool and very nice communal areas. We stayed only one night, a stopover between Kona airport and the drive to Hilo. We left thinking we would like to stay again, perhaps stay two nights. Lovely hosts. "

"I had a wonderful stay at Dragonfly Ranch. Initially I gave a bad rating for check in experience because nobody was there for me to check in. And later I found that it was because a staff had to go to hospital for emergency and usually someone is there. All staff are warm and helpful. The owner, Barbara is full of knowledge of health. "I celebrated my husband birthday here and the host Carol and his wife worked with me to surprise him with a delicious birthday cake. They bought the cake and surprised us. The stay was amazing, if your not planning to stay in all day as we were pretty much out enjoying our activities and slept most of the 2 nites.
