"Perfect for our visit to Smith - just a few blocks away. Room was spotless & bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up. My daughter loved the hygiene products in the bathroom; I would purchase them for our home if i could remember what they were! Breakfast was better than the average continental with croissants, muffins, fresh fruit, & a variety of coffee options with dairy alternatives. We were on the first level so our door was exterior, but the area is well lit, parking was right...

"This was a great place to stay while visiting my daughter at Smith College. The rooms were clean, the building was quiet, and the staff was friendly and attentive. "

"We had a corner room #9 which is bright and has a nice view to nature in the morning. It is on the top floor, so you have high ceilings and the the woodwork. Staff is friendly and helpful. As you have the “waterfall” close to the room, you will hear the background noise night and day. It didn’t bother us, sounds a bit like a a/c. Air plugs are provided, which we didn’t use."

"Beautiful Vermont Inn with exceptional breakfast: changes everyday - we had frittata, fresh fruit, steel cut oats fried with maple syrup and pecans and always muffins or other baked goods. Our hosts were friendly, accommodating and know the area well. We had room 3- spacious and comfortable. When it snows there is a 5 mile snowshoe,cross country trail on the property for guests only. "We had a truly wonderful stay. The cottage and property are beautiful, peaceful and very special. Great views! Our host thought of everything, it's very comfortable and lovely. Best place to stay in Southern Vermont! Don't miss the Tiny Bread Box on Saturdays; it's just up the road. We'll defiantly be back for another visit."
