"A very nice home. Property was immaculate and the owner was quick to respond to a question that I had. Location is very private. All in all this was a lovely stay for a relaxing private getaway. This home is not located in a city with lots of exciting entertainment venues. Those things are a bit of a drive from the property but if you’re interested in quiet, privacy, relaxation and a good bit of space, this is perfect. "

Our goal on our discovery journey through Talladega National Forest was to locate some of the waterfalls in the area. Found a beautiful spot at High Falls at the southern end of the forest. Lucky to find a vantage point that showed off the fall colours too.

"A staff member came in our room at 2am, looking for cleaning supplies. We were all asleep and it woke us up. He didn’t knock, he just let himself in with a card. My 13 year old yelled and my 17 year old woke up and we made him leave. I will never stay there again. "
