"We truly enjoyed our stay at Hu Hotel. We wanted to be close enough to walk to Beale St and far enough away. It was absolutely the perfect location. Very quiet , rooms were clean and staff was very nice and helpful! The only issue we had was ice. You had to ask for ice on the first floor. Not a huge complaint. Just a little inconvenience. But would definitely recommend and stay here again. "

"Overall experience great after we had to switch rooms due to non working safe. No fault of hotel, but also very loud at night from police and loud cars going by. Full Breakfast pretty plain. Scrambled eggs and then some kind of meat and potatoes. Continental breakfast better buy. Close to Beale Street, horse drawn carriages, and Peabody if you want to see the ducks. If you are okay walking a half mile, you can take public transportation anywhere. "

"This hotel had an easy check-in, comfortable bed and pillows, and plenty of parking. It’s also is very close to shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops. We ate at Bog and Barley and Sunrise Cafe, which were very good. The area, including the hotel, felt safe and they had security in the parking lot and on-site. "

"There was nothing unique about the property. The clerk allowed me to check-in 1 hour early. I had been driving all day. That was helpful. Other than that the room was clean. The bed was comfortable. I enjoyed my weekend. "

"We were traveling thru, had a view of the river for sunset. Beale St right around the corner. Staff was sweet and accommodating "

"I have chronic back pain and when I completed my drive I knew I was going to have a sleepless night. I woke up at 8:00pm PAINFREE! Best sleep I ever had! This will be my hotel to go to when I’m in town!"

"Property needs updates. Escalator has not worked during multiple stays over the past year Convenient for stays to visit students at U of Memphis however not a first choice due to need for updates. "

"Room was great. Clean all around. The galleria is close and almost walkable. The area is good for the most part. It was perfect place for us to stop on our larger road trip."
