「We had to take my daughter’s service dog so we were placed by the office ground floor and a dog next to us barked continuously. The room was very basic and run down and there were even cobwebs in the bathroom. The desk chair was stained and gross but the worst was when i pulled up the sheets on the corner of the bed for the bed bug test the mattress was brown and fluid stained. Very expensive for what you get and the food and drink availability was poor. At least have a vending machine or...

「This hotel was totally unexpected. The personal touches that they add are enchanting! Each room is unique and the thought behind them is incredible. They offer a coffee bar during the day and a wine bar in the evening. We were even able to have a free movie outside with popcorn! This is an amazing place! The lobby is like a public living room and there are seating areas with firepits in multiple locations. It is totally walkable to downtown Highlands . . which is so charming! Stay here!」

「Paul, the owner, is absolutely amazing. So many beautiful antiques. Breakfast was delightful. We are coming back again next year!」

「We stayed at Kingwood for about 5 days during the period of the end of October into November and enjoyed a great time. Mike and his staff couldn't have been more pleasant to deal with. The Golf Course was in very good condition and extremely playable . The restaurant is only open for a couple of days until the renovations are complete , but , the staff were friendly and very nice. Mike and his staff were always checking on us and ready to help with any need that happened to pop up. We will...

「The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property. The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. There is no room to unpack or move around comfortably. The dark green paint and trim look moody in photos, but in person...

「Great location on the lake. My husband and I kayacked, fished, brought our pup along. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. The owners were more than welcoming, anticipated our needs before we thought of them. 」

「Very quaint, nice and friendly hosts and we loved sleeping by the waterfall , oh and the breakfast was awesome!!!」

「The house was perfect for our group for our golf trip. We had one minor issue and we were able to speak to the host and they had someone to correct it quickly so that it didn’t disrupt our trip in any way. Place was clean, peaceful, with great hosts.」

「Relaxing creek beside this lovely basement accommodations. Host was lovely. We were advised that all we needed were our clothes, and she was right. This host has thought of everything.」

「Amazing little house in the woods! We absolutely loved it. Close enough to walk to town while also feeling secluded and woodsy. 」
