"We could not expect anything better while staying at Ripplewood in Lijang, Yunnam, China. We were treated like part of their family. Every morning we had free breakfast and every time we were gaven Flower Cake, a famous local dissert cake made of flower paddles, after coming back from a tour in ancient cities. The unit we stayed is a loft, so my kids stayed at the loft and we stayed at the first floor, which gave us a planty of space. The bathroom is newly remodeled with an advanced toilet and...

"The staff are very charming and nice. Don't book this thinking its more than a nice guest house though. The toilet in the restaurant is a squat dunny. There was no coffee at breakfast. They didn't have a spoon to use to eat the noodle soup for breakfast and there really wasn't another choice. The rooms are really very nice though, clean and spacious with incredible amenities and the people are really really fantastic"

"Great stay overall. The hotel is in a really nice location within the resort, with beautiful mountain views and easy access to nearby bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and always helpful whenever we needed anything. The rooms were clean, and the bedding was very comfortable, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. "Incredible place to stay! Only a short walk from the core of old town this beautiful property is owned by an incredibly kind and helpful gentleman Dom! I was lucky enough to spend some time and get to know him a bit. He helped me with booking travel and different activities within the city as well! Very clean room, the staff was very attentive to cleaning and ensuring my stay was great, location in my opinion was perfect. A short walk to everything you need and it was incredibly comfortable"
