「Having stayed at this hotel a number of times years ago, I was looking forward to visiting again. How sad to find that although the hotel was as lovely as ever (even though there was renovation going on) the staff was very different. Both the clerk on duty when we checked in and the one in charge later in the evening were condescending and boarded on being actually rude. Certainly not a welcoming place any more. When I ask the first clerk, if there was shuttle service to the airport, she replied...

「This was a very basic, no frills hotel. The first room we were given smelled like smoke. We asked for a new room and were given one, which was appreciated. The breakfast had quick and easy foods like bagels, cereal, bananas, yogurt, etc. There was nothing hot like scrambled eggs, breakfast meat, or waffles. My gluten free husband, had very little to eat- yogurt, bananas, apples, and hard boiled eggs. Overall, the hotel was decent. But given the cost, I was expecting something a bit nicer.」
