"The suites are really good 👍 i had my cat there which was really nice to have my pet there. The suite has a washer dryer in it which was very convenient i was so excited to know that. I dont know many that have that. The restaurant up the hill is not available until 5 for dinner when i was there i didnt try it. There is a salon and spa at the top of the hill also didnt book that. But the suite had a fireplace and a spa tub in it jetted it wasnt huge but it was nice to be able to prepare a hot...

"This is the third time we have stayed at the black bear lodge in Stratton and every time we stay our experience is the same.. excellent. The staff are all so nice and accommodating, the property is clean and the breakfast is perfect. The rooms are comfortable and clean, it really is the perfect place to stay in Vermont. "STAFF I want to start by pointing out that the staff at the hotel were above and beyond PHENOMENAL, and I mean ALL THE STAFF. I spent the weekend up there and got stuck with some car problems in a blizzard and dealt with everybody on the staff there. They were some of the nicest people I have ever dealt with in the hospitality industry. When I say all the staff, I mean all the staff! DAY 1. "Agreed with all comments about the exceptional home made style breakfast. However, the second night there was a group playing guitar and singing. With over 200 years house, this was not welcomed especially after a tiring long ski day. Phoned hotel and also Expedia on that same night but both myself and Expedia could not get hold off host for resolution. Got to know next Morning that the voicemail probably was played and heard but did not take action. These days with many craziness in the news,...

"The unit was perfect for our ski race weekend. Very accessible, underground parking included (ski boxes on top of SUVs will not fit - thankfully we left ours at home), really nice place with everything we needed!"
