"The hotel is as you would expect - basic, but clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and the pastries in particular were very good. Only negatives: (1) the AC in my room needed a service. The fan was incredibly noisy on the high setting, so I turned it to low. "The grounds of the hotel were fabulous! I actually saw a flock of pink flamingos fly above the hotel. The employees were very helpful and friendly. Hotel is well situated for visiting the Camargue area and offers ample parking. However, the smell of humidity was very strong in the room and not pleasant."

"The Cacharel is like going back in time to a French ranch house. Staff is incredible- food is amazing. Gorgeous large pool (eat there!) rooms all have AC and are comfortable. Incredible location right by marshes with hundreds of flamingos and ample places to ride the iconic white horses. We had no idea how amazing this part of the world is. Would absolutely recommend if you want a wonderful once in a lifetime family adventure! We loved our stay (and added a night!) "
