"Nice old Historic Hotel, with a great history and story. But, you definitely have to drive for food/beverage. There are numerous one way roads and steep hills. Also there is an obvious homeless problem in this town, very sad."

"Great little cabin in the forest. The many cabins are near one another but it was very quiet. We enjoyed strolling amongst the big trees and driving the short distance to the little town of Trinidad. One note: no bathroom sink in our cabin, so all handwashing, teeth brushing etc. has to be done at the kitchenette sink. "

"I wanted to take a bath so I got a couple of the Clorox wipes to wipe down the bath tub. The first swipe I did came up with debris and hair. It grossed me out, so I decided to take a shower. The water lapped at my ankles because there was so much hair clogging the drain!! Then I dropped something behind the nightstand and found tons of dust there. Looked clean, but was only clean in the middle. "

"Really enjoyed this home. Three bedrooms and 3 baths, so everyone had their own space, which was nice. The home was clean, and it had a nice deck with bird and hummingbird feeders which we enjoyed. Our favorite part of the trip was watching the resident squirrel regularly pilfering seed from the 'squirrel proof' feeder. :) Fully stocked kitchen, so it was nice to be able to cook food rather than depending on fast food.
