Bernardsville 3 Stars Hotels

"It wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever stayed, but certainly not the best. Checkin took an unusually long time and the person working the desk seemed like they may have been having a rough day. The layout of the property is odd and being in building b made getting breakfast in the morning too challenging for the disabled members of my family. The parking lot and entrance to our building often smelled strongly of marijuana, especially in the evenings. The common areas were clean (other than the aforementioned smell) but a bit rundown. I found the same to be true in our room; no smell and generally clean, but run down. The door seemed damaged making it difficult to open, the sofa had a large gash in it, floors were uneven, some lights didn’t work, and the appliances dented. I did appreciate the ample layout with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and full size kitchen appliances. There was no housekeeping available for the length of our stay (5 nights) but I was able to have the trash emptied if I placed it outside my room. The beds were comfortable and a full set of extra linens were provided for the sleeper sofa. Noise in adjacent rooms felt excessive at times, but wasn’t constant. This would not be my first choice in accommodations next time in I’m in the area, but I wouldn’t rule it out entirely. "

"Do not stay here! A man complained of bed bugs right as we were booking into our room! The man at the front desk seemed unbothered by it, like it was a regular occurrence. He gave us a sob story saying people just say that to try and get their money back after they’ve finished doing whatever it was they were doing in there. I told i’m gonna check out the room before finalizing the booking. As soon as I opened the door to the room, I was greeted by not one, not two, but THREE roaches crawling on both the floor and wall. I took video evidence and ran out of there so fast. Not to mention there’s a lingering smell in the air that’s hard to place but not pleasing to inhale. Come here you own risk."

"Room was ok. Check in was chaotic as a large group just entered. The cafe inside hotel was not open. There was one pot of coffee in lobby. No creamer and area was a mess. Balcony has no table or chairs. Room smelled of weed throughout the 2 night stay. Only 2 towels provided. "

"Very clean room and quiet place. Several restaurants around with in walking distance."

"I feel everything was as close to par with a 5 rating and would call it at 4.9 Star rated. One could not miss staying at this establishment. Really is as close to 5 Stars as imaginable. Clean room, wonderful breakfast, excellent parking, attentive Staff."
