"We stayed over night and it was just what we needed. Room was so clean and quiet! Would definitely stay again ."

"The room was very nice and had a roomy shower, great shampoo and conditioner, a very comfortable bed, and a nice smart tv for us to watch. Also appreciated that there were lots of usb chargers and plugs for any needed devices. The front staff was also very quick and friendly. Will definitely be staying again sometime. "

"I liked the hotel overall. I did have some minor issues. The shower head connection squirted water at connection site and the cords for the window shade were broken so I was unable to raise or lower the window shade. Also, on the ground floor, the floor surface transition from the rug to tiled flooring was raised with a lip. I tripped and fell on the floor when my sneaker shoetip caught the lip."

"It was convenient and walkable to restaurants (theirs was closed during our Friday through Sunday stay) and fairly priced. Some small disappointment for lack of coffee station supplies, which I'm sure would've been rectified if we reported it to the front desk. We had brought our own, being coffee snobs. The bed was sparkling clean and very comfortable. The Grand has a beautiful lobby. She's a stately but elderly Southern lady."

"Well, for one, I was worried about sound as I could hear neighbors room outside our room. The noise disappeared inside our room. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound insulation. Friendly staff, the bartender was super friendly and personable. Tony was definitely a highlight of the stay. The front staff member was also very friendly. I think name was Ari. "

"The hotel was nice and the location was great. The room was a bit dusty, especially the sleeper sofa. Accommodations were nice and the front counter receptionist was fantastic."

"We had a relaxing stay at Peaks of Otter. We walked the lake, took the shuttle almost to the top of Sharp Top Mountain and then hiked the rest of the way up, sat by the lake in the evenings by the fire pit, read on our balcony which over looked the lake, and ate in the dining room for most meals. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, answered all our questions and were always willing to help. Room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!"

"Greeted warmly at reception, hotel and room were very clean and updated. Bed was comfortable, including sofa bed. "

"The check-in was friendly and informative. The room was quiet and mostly clean but there was some damage to the sofa and a desk chair probably from a dog. We reported it. It was not that easy getting Wi-Fi but we finally got in. Never had that problem at any other Marriott. The breakfast was good."
