When we mentioned in passing that it was our anniversary, they had a special treat in our room when we returned. It was a lovely experience all around. We would definitely stay there again. "

"This was our first time in solvang and we cant wait to come back to stay at this hotel. It is beautiful, calm, and the cottage was phenomenal. Big space, good amenities, and wonderful atmosphere. Also very close to great food choices. Hoping we get a full cottage to ourselves next time but honestly i wouldnt mind staying in the same room again because it was so nice. The staff is incredibly kind from the front desk to the ones tending to the breakfast possibly one of the best customer service...

"Lovely Gardens. Nice Staff. Near Vintage Motorcycle Museum! Comfortable bed. Sanitizing or cleaning spray was a little too scented took hours to dissipate. Suggest moving couch to face TV and put chairs on wall facing gardens. Remove coffee table. I’m an Interior designer and the cottage is adorable. Thank you 😊 "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Winston. Great rooms! Small property & safe. Convenient, safe parking. Not too pleased with the early morning garbage truck dumping right outside our window. We had lots of noise from neighboring rooms & upstairs rooms during our stay. It sounded like an elephant walking around upstairs! I would stay in an upper room next time."

"Probably my bad for not believing the photos. The room is truly a cave, almost to the point of giving me a claustrophobia. This is just a weird place. It’s essentially a decorated motor lodge. I think it would be good if you plan to eat at the restaurant, which we did not. The pool is closed for the winter, even though it’s late April. The bed is relatively uncomfortable, too soft. This hotel was so great I had to write this out
"This was our first time in solvang and we cant wait to come back to stay at this hotel. It is beautiful, calm, and the cottage was phenomenal. Big space, good amenities, and wonderful atmosphere. Also very close to great food choices. Hoping we get a full cottage to ourselves next time but honestly i wouldnt mind staying in the same room again because it was so nice.
