"Needlessly complicated check in process - why did I have to supply my ID? There is no UK legal requirement for this and most places don't do it. The booking app has my details if anything goes wrong. My room (6) was in a dark lower basement, not listed as such. I asked for upstairs room which was available but it did not have a cooking stove. Decor bit naff but place was essentially clean and comfortable with proper bedside tables, and reading lights. There was an issue with the hob which I...
