"We came to this hotel and this beach because it is known for sea turtles. My wife and I took turns snorkeling in the bay directly from the beach. We did not do a boat tour and talk to anyone about their location. On the second day while I was snorkeling in 5 feet of water approximately 30 feet from the beach I saw the first turtle eating off the ocean floor. I was startled to see it so close and was in awe of how beautiful it was. I assume the turtles are used to seeing snorkeling humans...

"The house is smaller than I expected, and the biggest issue is the flat is at 5/F, so we have to carry our luggage to walk the stairs. Parking is easy but it's not free, but not expensive, highly recommend the restaurant downstairs."

Hosei is right on the beach front and you can see the best sunset from here as well as relax in the day. It is so tranquil! "Literally 3 mins walk to Ama beach. A couple of cafes close by for snacks and lunch. The local bus departs from a few minutes away and takes you to Zamami port. English speaking staff explain everything you need. Its a 15 minutes walk to Zamami village area."
