"Hotel Rose is a great addition to the downtown Rockford area. Our room was clean and inviting; the front desk staff were helpful. Parking is in a lot across the street, or street parking. This was not a problem for us. The room was nice, very clean which is important. The shower area could use more lighting and a safety bar, even in our non-ADA room. There was a 50.00 dollar incidentals fee charged to our credit card; the front desk staff said that would be refunded in 5 to 8 days. Your room key gives you access to the hotel elevators and the electricity in the room. We would stay again."
