"This is the worst place I have ever had the misfortune to stay. On arrival I could see that the building exterior was very tired. The decking was past its best and the key box was broken and the smell was dreadful as I opened the door. Tried to keep an open mind went to open windows but the bathroom and one bedroom didn’t open at all. It all needed a good clean so put the immerser on and waited, I am still waiting. "There was a glitch with check in but the owner when contacted was on scene promptly and the issue was resolved quickly. Property is very convenient for restaurants and although the bathroom is not ensuite it is very clean and modern. "

"My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lochead Chalet. It's in a wonderful spot right on the loch side, and oh my it is so very peaceful! The chalet itself was a perfect size for we two adults and our little dogs and we found it very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karlina in the Ellary estate office was lovely too. A beautiful location for a holiday and a charming place to stay - highly recommended. "
