「Driving from Michigan to New Hampshire I was looking for a convenient, affordable place to stop for the night. Located right off the NY Thruway in Utica, this was the perfect place. Clean, cheap, and quiet. Discovering Willie’s Bagel Cafe at the motel entrance was a bonus! The veggie omelette and fresh coffee were the fuel I needed to get back on the road. Be sure to go early, they get busy around 8.」

「I reserved a room in April for June 6 and 7. We get the 15 minutes after check in time and told there are no rooms. I told the lady I had a reservation and she says "no room". 「arrived to check in on July 25, 2025 and found motel closed and out of business. no one contacted me from Hotels.com or Motel 6 in Llion, NY to inform me that the hotel closed since I booked it in December 2024. Had to make other arrangements since it was the baseball hall of fame weekend and no other hotels were available. stayed one hour and a half from Cooperstown, NY.」

「There were no amenities . I didn't bring my hair dryer or iron my clothes. Because most places have these. No microwaves or mini fridge . Coffee maker in lounge area . Tiny bottle of shampoo and bar of soap . Place is very dated not very clean and overpriced for what you get . But the lady at front desk was very friendly and took us right to our room . This place could be a beautiful hotel if the right people up kept it . It's resting on its laurels . I wouldn't return .」
