"Hotel was hard to find, no lights on signage or in lobby building. At checkin the card machine was broken. No explanation of amenities, hot spring pool location (again with no lights) and was not clean. Room had broken lights, FIRM mattress and broken shower towel rack. Mold growing in cracks of shower curtain. This place has charm, but needs a little work in the hospitality department."

Derrick Cave is a lava tube in Oregon. One side is very short. Several inlets for sun and the opposite side goes several hundred feet or so before dead ending. The road there is over 20 miles of forest service road. You should have a truck or slightly higher vehicle and tough tires. I saw no one on the way there or back. Watch for cows as well. #Nature
