"Great hotel with friendly staff, good breakfast and clean "

"As an infrequent traveller and senior citizen, I appreciated the very pleasant and generous assistance with phone, navigation and general issues. I enjoyed being in the older traditional artistic area. Shakya House was beautiful, comfortable and secure. I would love to stay again."

"Awesome service by the staff!"

"Very good hostel, really enjoyed my week's stay. Great staff and had a deep tissue massage at the spa and it was amazing. Great accomadation for the price."

"I thought the staff was great, but this area and location is a bit rough, so you may face some cold nights and lack some creature comforts. "Clean hostel, the restaurant beside has delicious food. "

"When I arrived I was told the hotel was full, despite having a reservation for a single room. I wasn't offered any equivalent alternative, even though there were other similar hotels in the area. "
