"The staff was great. Helpful and friendly and helped us to handle a very sticky situation caused by an unruly guest, not related to the property. We were close to just leaving to avoid the issue that was caused by this person, but Management was able to come to the lobby and handle the issue personally and we felt comfortable staying as originally planned. We do travel with a small companion dog, my service animal. The facilities were accommodating and comfortable for traveling with a pet. The room itself was clean and well-appointed, but the linens were a little worn. That would be my only complaint. We will stay here again. Thank you "

"I never like to write bad reviews, but this one was a very bad experience. I picked this place since it was pet friendly. When I checked in the front desk person said that I didn't book a pet friendly room, but had no pet friendly rooms available. I asked for a refund and the person said that I needed to contact Hotels.com. The customer service team from Hotels.com stated that they can give me a refund unless the Mountain Star Inn doesn't charge for the room. This takes 24 hours, so this morning I was charged by Mountain Star Inn and I didn't even stayed there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling with a pet. "
