Fowler Woods State Nature Preserve offers 1-1/4 mile loop boardwalk trail (sort of) through a beech-maple forest, rare pumpkin ash trees, buttonbush swamps and woodland pools. Currently most of the Beechdrop boardwalk trail has been closed because falling limbs from ash trees infected with the invasive emerald ash borer have created safety hazards along the trail.
