「I booked the room for the Amelia Concours. While the stay was relatively pleasant and uneventful, there were a few issues. There were many pros but as many cons. This review highlights the painpoints.
Where they skimped was the bath towels - felt like sandpaper. You'd think a hotel like Marriott would spend a little more for better, softer towels, but that's not the case. I'm sure that was an accountant's decision.
Room cleanliness - not entirely clean because I found disgusting nail...

「If you are booking the Surf and Sand for the free hot breakfast, don’t bother. There is a limited selection and when we went this morning the bagels, bread, and croissants were completely wiped out with no replenishment. Other than that, the hotel is very well located being close to the beach, 2 restaurants within walking distance and a short ride into town.」

「Our room was clean, the cleaning staff left us little notes. The hotel staff checked on how our stay was going. I really appreciated all of those little things, because they add up to a great stay.」

「I didn’t stay. When I got there, it was a hotel under construction and not yet open for use. Expedia won’t give me my money back because it was non refundable. Not my fault the hotel is not finished. Out $531.00
