"Here’s a polished version of your review: Last night, I stayed at the Chaplin Inn & Suites because my daughter was attending a UConn orientation today. The price was reasonable, and the property had many positive reviews, which helped influence my decision. The staff was friendly, and at first glance the room appeared clean. Unfortunately, there was a very strong odor in the room that was difficult to ignore. It smelled as though the room had not been properly aired out for a long time. The odor made the stay less comfortable than expected. Fortunately, there was a Dollar General across the street, so I was able to purchase cleaning supplies, air fresheners, and a plug-in air freshener to help mask the smell. While I appreciated the friendly service and fair pricing, addressing the room odor would greatly improve the guest experience."
