「Having read previous reviews that criticized the reception, staff, excessively loud A/C, uncomfortable beds, etc, I arrived with definite worries. Our stay could not have been better!!! 「While the brick exterior has an older motel kind of look, don't be fooled, the interior has been totally refurbished and is very clean and modern. The hotel is also set back from the road a bit, and our room in the back was very quiet and peaceful with a view to the hills. The facility also has a small bar where you can have a nightcap, which is very convenient if you don't want to drink and drive. I would highly recommend this hotel.」

「Very nice place. Quiet. The breakfasts are included and are upscale with excellent staff service. Unless you are young and don't care, make sure you get a ground floor room - the upstairs rooms require a walk up a large staircase, and are inconvenient. Would definitely return. 」

「Chatham Travel lodge was well situated for our trip further north. The area is beautiful. The town of Chatham is close by with restaurants and shopping. The guests in the room above us were noisy for a while, but not after 10 pm. The lodge is old, but the room was clean and perfect for a one night stopover.」

「We were attracted to the overall ambiance of Whistler's Inn. A charming B&B that was nearby the main area of Lenox, as well as within shouting distance of many places of interest. Our main contact, Lisa, went out of her way to keep us informed about our upcoming stay, and then did so much to make us feel welcome. Our only "4" rating was due to the number of stairs we had to negotiate. Overall, don't hesitate to consider Whistler's Inn for your next Berkshires visit.」
