"This hotel was like stepping back into my childhood. Very retro feel but updated, clean and comfortable. It even had the “ old, retro “ type swing sets in the play park. Very cool.
We enjoyed our stay here very much. The bed, bedding and pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place. "
"The room was clean and spacious. I liked the set up of the room, 2 sinks room to spread out and a comfortablebed. The stafff was friendly and pleasant. I would definitely refer it to a friend. "
"Luggage cart was wobbly and tires were low making transport a challenge. Hot tub area could use a table to store items and hooks to hang clothes on, Sauna was out of operation."
"Its just a great place to stay! All the staff on site are amazing and so understanding and have such empathy due to the circumstances I was under!!!! This was my 2nd stay and we're staying again next month!!!!"
"Great place to stay. Restaurant was really good! Had 3 meals there, and all were delicious and carefully thought out and executed.
My only issue was with the young host at the restaurant one evening, I think her name was Celi. Barely a greeting, barely any eye contact, curt, and short. No grace or sense of hospitality. This position is so important…it is the first experience your guest has with the restaurant, and it was a huge fail.
After dinner, I asked her for a small ziplock bag for ice (for an unhappy knee). Without looking at me she said they didn’t have any plastic bags in the kitchen..!(I’ve worked in kitchens for 40 years, there’s a plastic bag in there somewhere!) Her co worker heard and said “really!?” I’m going to check. The co worker came back with one and even asked if I wanted ice. Now that’s how to do it. So, if you get someone who is welcoming & gracious at the front podium, you’ve got a winning place. "
"This was one of the smallest rooms we stayed in during our 7 day road trip but our stay was comfy. We had a king bed, fridge, coffee and good water pressure. The views of the gorge from the property were beautiful. The wineries were in close proximity. There’s a McDonald’s and Walmart and Starbucks about one mile away. Plenty of family owned restaurants too. "
