"We chose this hotel primarily for its historical significance. I was expecting it to be in a run down condition but surprisingly it was really good with modern amenities . Infact the check-in and housekeeping were very responsive and nice. The club swimming pool was bit far from the main location. I sincerely wish the Hotel to do much better due to its sprawling campus , grand lobby . The shuttle service is a great value addition considering its far from the main attractions and very convenient to connect to the main red line MRT in 5 mins. They need to improve dining . It was disappointing and the fact that there was no nearby place to go out and have dinner we had no other choice but to rely on hotel dining. I presume the breakfast is good since we did not avail it due to our travel schedule. Overall I would recommend this hotel more for leisure travellers and not business travellers. "

"服务不满意。别的不错。硬设施超过预期。位置，公交车临近，房间都蛮不错的。比同等等级饭店好些。我是四十年前在所在地附近居住过的。我认为地区也不错。感觉不错。但是具体可以作什么，我却说不准。可以在溪流畔走走。主要是一个休息地方。出门搭车到别的地方玩。早餐很不错。因为服务缺乏，我决定不复返。"

"We had a great room with large tub and steam shower. Spa with hot and cold seating areas and hot sauna and steam with shower in side to cool as needed. Steam room smelled so nice. All staff , front desk, bar and spa area were very kind and helpful. "

"We enjoyed our stay, the location was convenient to a variety of attractions. Our room was clean and large. We enjoyed a cocktail at the terrace bar overlooking Taipei. The staff was very helpful with travel arrangements to and from the hotel and advice on what to do in the area. The breakfast had an extensive menu and appealed to a variety of pallets."
