"We had a wonderfully relaxing few days. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were most enjoyable. Our room was immaculately clean and the water was hot. It was lovely to be able to sit out on a balcony and read. The manager arranged a great safari to Bandula National Park and provided us with a very tasty breakfast to take with us. On leaving, they were able to arrange transport to our next hotel. The recently extended and beautifully decorated hotel is located in a quiet area...

"We stayed here for a few days to go to Yala National Park and Hotel Elephant Eye was a great location for taking a SAFARI Tour. The owner is very friendly and the staff are very hardworking. The property is very well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast in the restaurant. Easy walk or Tuk tuk to town for restaurants and grocery stores."

"Our finest day was borrowing bikes from the hotel and bicycling to Kirinda. Wonderful secluded beach 12 Km from Tissa. Also the evening flight of fruit bats from the large trees at the lake was fantastic. Be there at dusk."

"The most comfortable beds I’ve experienced in a long time, and also compared to many 5-star hotels I’ve tried, this place had very simple but spacious and comfortable rooms with good AC, huge beds and nice balcony. "I had a great relaxing stay in Yala. The manager was fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The room was huge, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was decent size with separate shower. The breakfast was basic but tasty and lots of it. The pool was great to jump into after a long day travelling or on safari. All the jeeps will come pick up from the hotel and they can even arrange a safari for you for a reasonable rate if you dont want to do it yourself online. Theres not much around the...
