Plenty of space to park, very quiet, no hassle checking in/out. Communication was great and the staff we spoke to were very polite and happy to help with any inquiries. The only slight issue (which isnt really an issue) is the bathroom light was on a sensor, id prefer a switch so i can decide whether to have the light on or not.

Lovely nights stay

We recently stayed in the Toot Suite at the The Old Mill. The suite was spotless and had everything we needed. We will definitely be looking to book this place again.

Very clean and tidy room. The hotel is ideally situated and is very quiet and peaceful. Had a great nights sleep. Shower pressure and water temperature was great. Would like to try and me if the rooms with a hot tub when visiting again

Quirky but nice.

Lovely quirky place with a very friendly, helpful manager. Our room was OK, rather basic but overall nice and clean. There are no breakfast facilities so it means a drive into Yarm - tho it's a really lovely town. The pub is very close by and does do evening meals.

About 3 miles from Yarm. No staff at address so had get key from a lock safe. Room was too hot on arrival. Difficult to get cooler. Eventually turned off towel rail but ended up with a cold shower on day 2. Also a cracked toilet seat. Nobody about for assistance. Also on arrival toilet had not been flushed with both types evident to flush away. This was a shame as room was spotless and nicely decorated. Loud noises from room above so not a good nights sleep unfortunately.

Nice room but don’t rely on charging your car here

The Tool Shed room was nice and very clean. Check in was easy. Had booked this place because it advertises a charger for electric cars and I was travelling in my EV from Manchester so needed to charge. I called the day before to check the chargers toe to make sure it was compatible and received a photo of the charger. All good so far. Unfortunately when we arrived and saw where the charger was there was a large caravan next to it so was not accessible unless you had a 10m cable - standard 5 or 6m cables will not reach. After checking with the the guy when we checked in it looks like this caravan is permanently there. Only other problem we had was that the hot water ran out after about 10 seconds so had to have cold showers. Location is good and the pub About 50m away is really nice.
