"We had the perfect view of the Rockies from our porch, we saw elk every day walking the grounds. We enjoyed family game nights from all the board games they offer. It truly was one of our best family trips and Appenzell was perfect for it! Will definitely book here again when we come back to Estes Park!! And my kids loved the nightly s’mores"

Great hotel

"Absolutely loved this hotel and the staff. I would definitely stay here again. Room was cozy, bed was comfy. One of the main things I loved, was they had a small cooler in the room you could use to take w you in a hike or to the lake and they also had my favorite Rocky Mountain hiking book that gives you many hikes you can do. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Only suggestion I would say is have a little more options for breakfast. Other than that loved it so much! "
