"We love this place! We had a nice water front cabana, with a terrace and dock. It was very nice and clean, bed was comfortable with a separate sitting area, spacious bathroom, mini bar (with complimentary coffee and tea) shelves for your belongings.
Property grounds were well kept, surrounded with plants and trees. They have a pool and jacuzzi which is nice, however, depending on the time of day or the number of guests they have it can be a little too crowded.
The restaurant was right on the water so you have a fantastic view of the lagoon. The food were delicious. We had all kinds of tacos (our favorite was the conchinita pibil and pulpo), the cheese empanadas were also tasty and fresh. The burger was great, too. I enjoyed drinking their mojitos and piñacolada. For breakfast, they have a few options. They also served dofferent konds of bread. However, I do find their coffee served during breakfast watery.
Generally, Staff were very helfpul and friendly especially Willy (restaurant staff) and Santos (boat operator). I felt that the servers during breakfast were not as attentive compared to other servers during dinner time (e.g they only go around once to ask you if you would like more bread served, or coffee and tea). Service can definitely be improved on.
We also did the lagoon tour 2x (1 private and 1 with other guests), both tomes were awesome! We liked Santos, the boat driver. He’s funny, easy going and friendly. The massagd was amazing!
We will be back!
