"Good that it’s pet friendly. Staff was pleasant. Lobby looks nice. Snack and drink choices are horrendous though. Only sugary and carb filled options. No Coke Zero, and no low sugar Gatorade. No snacks with protein or healthier ingredients, or fruit. It’s like they bought the cheapest stuff and marked it up the highest possible prices. Best advice to this property is to significantly improve snack choices, and adjust down prices on that. Also they had a tree down blocking a non-essential sidewalk, but it was noticeable walking a pet."

"The price was fair, but the location isn’t very convenient for getting into Chicago—especially in March weather. We ended up spending a lot on Ubers. Breakfast was great, and the staff there were very kind and attentive. The gym is cramped and not well maintained—dirty mats, only two treadmills, and one was unplugged (though it worked once plugged in). We didn’t try the pool. Overall, the stay was fine until the end. During a storm, the Wi-Fi was too poor to book an Uber for over an hour and a half while I was trying to get to the airport. When I asked the front desk (likely the manager) for a taxi alternative, she was surprisingly rude and unhelpful, which left a bad final impression. She told me that she could help by googling it or that I could just do that. Customer service is everything when you're in time of need so I'm leaving 2 stars and never coming back."

"It’s in the condition you’d expect for the nightly cost, but needs a lot of updates. Heat has a funky smell and a lot of things in the room are just really old. You get what you pay for!"

"The pool was not clean. It was cold. We ask if they can turn the heat of the pool on they say they were gonna ask the manager, but they never did. other than that everything was OK."

"I booked this property after a day at O'Hare airport and multiple flight cancellations. I was greeted and checked in efficiently, had a drink and dinner and retired to a very comfortable and clean room. Breakfast the next day consusted of an excellent omelet. Overall a very comfortable and well appointed hotel. Thank you!"

"This particular Hyatt Regency is in a terrible need of complete renovation. The room I stayed in had HVAC issues and plumbing problems. Tacky old decor makes a place very unpleasant looking. There are better options in the area."
