"This hotel was nicer than I expected. I needed a hotel close to the HSR station for a night so I could catch an early train the following morning. The room was larger and more comfortable than what I usually get in Taiwan and the staff were helpful getting checked in and out. Do note that it's not really close to the HSR station - you'll still need to take a bus, taxi, or do a fair bit of walking to the local train to get there. But if you need a very reasonably priced hotel on this side of town it's a solid choice."

"We had a fantastic experience at the Lukang Yong Le Hotel. Even though we arrived late at night, the location is absolutely perfect—we were able to take a beautiful, relaxing stroll around the neighborhood to unwind before heading to bed. The hotel's standards are great, from the comfort of the rooms to the seamless check-in. If you are visiting Lukang, this is definitely the top pick!"

"Spacious and clean rooms, but no elevator. The only one set of complimentary self-service laundry was very old. The dryer was especially inefficient. Strict visiting rules (one hour limit) for visitors of guests."
