"The hotel is in a brilliant location, just 10 minutes from Taipei Main Station. Despite being in the city centre, it was quiet at night. The staff were helpful, the public spaces were clean, and the small kitchen and dining area were really nice. The only thing I found difficult was the toilet. I stayed with a friend, so having a visible toilet was a bit awkward, and it was really hard not to get the toilet wet when I took a shower because there was just a small wall between them. Top Ximen Station Hotel Reviews

Regent Taipei

Regent Taipei

10/10 Excellent
"Regent is at a very good location in Taipei and it's very walkable. The property is well maintained and part of a complex with the Regent Galleria. You definitely can tell this is an upscale property. There's a Louis Vuitton right in the lobby, but the hotel is not pretentious so even casual travelers will feel welcome. The rooms are very large as are the bathrooms. It actually felt a bit silly taking 4 large steps from the door to the sink. Daily cleaning was very good. On site dining options were extensive but my only experience was the breakfast buffet. Selection is great, including local, western, Korean, Japanese options. I would recommend this for travelers searching for a more upscale experience and business travelers."
