"Horrible hotel. The staff insisted that I need to pay for the laundry before giving me back my clothes, just because I never deposit, despite I said I will pay upon check out as we are so tired after a full day of walking. But staff still wanted me to go all the down to the lobby to make payment first. Very inconsiderate and unhelpful staff. The breakfast spread is ok, but to me not enough choices. And 3 lifts, 2 were spoiled. Never stayed such a lousy 5 star hotel before."

"This is a great spot. It's pretty quaint, but the rooms are nice enough. Nice view of the river, although it is right on a night market street, so there is some chatter at night but nothing crazy. The staff is amazing, they are so attentive and spent over an hour helping to plan our itinerary and even buy tickets for the nature sights nearby. They also recommend places to eat nearby. Definitely recommend this hotel."

"L’hôtel a été difficile à trouver car l’adresse ne nous amenait pas au bon endroit. Par contre le personnel de l’hôtel était exceptionnellement gentil et serviable. Nous a donné des itinéraires pour les parcs. Je recommande fortement."

"I had a wonderful stay at Fungee S in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie. The staff is wonderful and always helpful especially the mgr Ms. Zhao. After checking in, she helped me sorted out my tickets to the national park, recommended routes for my sightseeing and the hikes/treks to take. The room is nicely appointed to make you feel right at home. The facilities are well maintained and clean. Heck, they even wash your clothes for free and the daily afternoon tea/cocktail are much appreciated. The breakfast spread is very decent and will fuel your day for the hikes and climbs. Great location, close to lots of local eats and most importantly very close to the East gate entrance to the park. I highly recommend this little gem."
