"They didn’t tell us they didn’t have any room on the ground floor day one when I had booked the hotel and requested a ground floor room for our disabled friend. But when the day came, they sent an email and said they haven’t had any room in the round floor and they were going to prepare one for us with on top £40. Even thought they finally didn’t charge for it and we decided to have a room on the first floor instead. However, their way of managing the case was weird. They should not do it this way."

"This hotel has character although it could do with some tlc in places. They have a kids playground which my 6yr old loved. Also the staff are wonderful as I noted when my daughter fell out of bed one night during our stay and the staff were only interested in my daughters well being rather than the decorative candle holder that broke as she tumbled to the floor. I wish there were more hotels like this than the typical box hotel chains I find in the USA where I live. For those from the USA, please be aware there is no A/C in the hotel rooms (the windows are easy to open) and no elevator to the second floor rooms."

"I went to Limpley Stoke Hotel for my son's wedding. They arranged for it at the hotel about 14 weeks ago. The venue was excellent and the wedding, breakfast and evening party went flawlessly. The food was tasty, hot and plentiful. The bar and outside terrace was great, plenty of room to move around, everyone really enjoyed themselves. The bar itself had plenty to offer drnkwise and the bar staff were cheerful and professional. The rooms were spacious ,spotless and well stocked with tea/coffee etc. There were around 60 of us at the wedding and I thought it was an idea setting, just the right size although I'm sure larger parties would find it just as idea. Overall, it was a brilliant Hotel and venue. I would recommend Limpley Stoke Hotel to anyone as an idea spot and very reasonable priced ,the weather was great as well. Well done and thanks to everyone at the hotel. Tony Hughes."

"Lovely hotel although it does show signs or wear and tear! The duvet was particularly cheap and nasty and the carpet is threadbare in a lot of places Easy check in and a nice bar Good breakfast apart from the orange juice which has to be the cheapest most unpleasant I have ever drunk (did not drink!)"
