"Several fire rings lit along the beach each night. Beach is rocky in the water. We didn’t swim there; Nice, big indoor pool w hot tub. Balcony view amazing. Friendly, accommodating staff. Free shuttle to ferry. Good breakfast. What more could you want?!"

"I would highly recommend staying at the Court Plaza in Mackinaw City. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room, King bed and bathroom were very clean. The room was spacious as well. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

"We loved the Highlands. The restaurant was great with delicious food, our room and the facility was clean, and staff were all very helpful. It was great to go up on the ski lift and do some hiking on the mountains. Gorgeous views from up there and everywhere. It was handy to have The Cafe (little store with food and more) onsite with many items to make our stay better. The pool was clean and wonderfully refreshing. We highly recommend the Highlands!"

"Went for my mothers 82nd birthday. Did not realize there was no elevators. Luckily the front desk was very helpful to exchange rooms so that my mother did not have to go up the stairs. Being older we were not able to use the TV until my daughter set up for us. Why would you have a TV that needs to be downloaded, was very disappointed with this feature. Rooms are nice size just seems like they would put in a chair or small table. Was very nice however we will not be returning to this location."

"Its a great place to stay overnight. Its a very old place. But its not expensive. Overall its value for money. The ferry to the mackinac island leaves right next to it. So you can park in the hotel and go for the ferry!"

"We enjoyed our 3rd floor balcony. Our kids loved the splash pad and swimming area. You can also go to another splash pad area just a minute or so away depending on where you stay. No breakfast but it’s no worries as we brought a bunch of food with us. I would stay here again. The screen door was broken and there was some mold on the bathroom shower curtain. Also the hair dryer and the back up hair dryer didn’t work at all. If any of this applies to you just speak up as staff were very friendly and all around the hotel was very clean. Great view and would safer again."
