Room was lovely and immaculate, cleaning was impeccable and it was great to have all toiletries provided and plenty of toilet rolls which isn’t something you get everywhere. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble, we even given breakfast after they’d stopped serving - Todd was a particularly favourite! Food was great and managed to get good discounts during our stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. "

"Had a lovely stay here. Staff were all very friendly and this is a lovely pub with a beautiful log burner. The breakfast was excellent, as was the food we had one evening when we dined here. Will definitely be back (hopefully when there's nicer weather) :)"

"My second time staying here. Checked in easy enough with the accommodation across the road at the lodge. The room had nice décor although the bathroom looked a little tired. I used the onsite gym facilities which did not have a lot of people in and allowed me to use the work stations and benches when I wanted to. The shower was good, the bed very comfy and breakfast across at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. A lovely place to stay."

"Nice location, no phone signal. Unfortunately our room had a leak in the bathroom, so it has a very wet floor most of the stay. The bed was comfortable and the host was friendly & helpful, but the room was not very clean, with dust & cobwebs all over. The shower hose was encrusted which wasn’t very appealing. We did not eat there, so cannot comment on the food, but the room TV was not working either, as the box was not tuned in, as per the photograph. An interesting note was that there was no way to lock our room door, which is different! Overall it was ok, but probably wouldn’t stay again."
