「Lodge on Lake Oconee is an older building, (maybe a former chain hotel), the mechanical is aged, tub/shower is old, though hot water was great! Mattress was soft, and furniture was adequate. TV is digital/ satellite based, hard to navigate. Included breakfast was great, both hot & cold options. Parking is adequate.」

「Southern Cross Ranch was a wonderful facility. Our room was clean. Breakfast was very fresh and delicious and the views from the breakfast room was spectacular! All staff were very warm, friendly and helpful, especially the owner, Inga; Karen in the office; Kimberly in the restaurant as was all the other staff employees. Thank you so much for your hospitality! We will definitely return! 」

「The property was well maintained and clean. The only issue I found was a small pack of tiny bugs by the sink. Not sure what they were but not enough to make me make a complaint.」

「The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!」

「Originally, upon arrival, the bed sheets had a stain. The staff were able to change it for me, though. The pool was not cleaned (stayed in late April). Rooms smelled nice, but like the bed sheets, the shower curtain was worn. Overall, clean and budget friendly. Good staff. Good TV, Good Refrigerator. Acceptable WiFi. I would stay here again if I needed a place to stay in Greensboro.」

「The curtain in our room (#218) did not completely cover the windows and there were two flood lights directed at our room. We could not get the room to be dark at night which made for a restless sleep. Check in and breakfast were good and the property was somewhat clean. 」

「Enjoyed our visit. Had an Old World Feel. Located on edge of Town Park and small businesses. So much nicer than a sea of concrete parking lot.」
