「Room was fine with what looked like a recently refurbished bathroom. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was beautifully presented and of à high quality. Would definitely stay here again」

「We had no room service eg change of towels. Also never came in to change the bin. We had to keep asking for things. Carpet syained, walls all marked. Windows bad, couldnt close one. An absolute nightmare.」

「We loved our stay at the hotel, the room was amazing and the views that came with the room were too. All the staff were really lovely but the lady in reception who dealt with us was especially helpful to us. The breakfast was really nice too. All in all a really nice night away and would recommend.」

「Great little last minute trip on a hot day and thoroughly enjoyed it and the hotel was clean and welcoming, especially the Scottish lady on reception who was such a lovely welcoming person. Hotel was, clean and had everything we needed.」

「The hotel was on the main street with shops and pubs all in walking distance. We were able to eat and drink at the Red Dragon. The only drawback was no on site parking so the car had to be left about 10 minutes walk away. This was the only issue the rest was great.」

「A great location to stop after a long drive. Very convenient. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spotless with lovely locally sourced products. Whilst we didn't eat dinner here it was busy and there us a children's play area too. We ate at the Hare & Hounds; a very pleasant 20 minute walk away. There is plenty of car parking spaces at the Gilpin. The breakfast is very basic. We would definitely stay again but not opt for the breakfast.」

「A very quite and peaceful place in June. Very convenient, 8 mins walk to Aldi, 16 mins walk from Morecambe Station.」

「Good location. Friendly & welcoming staff. Great views of the bay from our room which was lovely & spacious. Stairs only to access rooms so beware if you have heavy or large luggage. À la carte breakfast was good quality. Convenient with the onsite bar & restaurant. We stayed during the week so no problems with noise. Car park is in a back lot & very small. 」

「The room was clean and the breakfast was good The only issue was the stairs to the room as our room was on the 3 floors there were a lot of stairs to climb and we both OAP which was very tiring. On the hold it was a good experience but we would not stay again due to the stairs.」
