Renaissance was wonderful! Absolutely loved the location since we’d walk every night to dinner, etc. So close to everything. Didn’t mind that it didn’t have a ‘real beach’ because you can just rent a car and go to other beaches or we actually took a taxi the one day and went to Avila. Very safe area.

Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort – 5-Star Caribbean Escape I recently stayed at the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort, and it exceeded all expectations. Nestled right on the ocean’s edge and steps from the heart of Willemstad, the location is ideal—walking distance to the iconic Queen Emma Bridge, colorful Dutch colonial architecture, and plenty of shops and restaurants. Rooms & Comfort: The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. I especially appreciated the plush bedding, spacious layout, and the ocean view from my balcony. Everything felt updated and thoughtfully designed. Infinity Beach Club: One of the biggest highlights is the man-made saltwater infinity beach. It’s a unique feature and perfect for relaxing with a cocktail while gazing at the ocean. The service there was exceptional—towels, drinks, and snacks delivered with a smile. Dining: The on-site restaurants offered a solid range of options. The breakfast buffet was generous with tropical fruits, local dishes, and made-to-order eggs. For dinner, I highly recommend Blue for its seafood and oceanfront ambiance. Service: The staff made the stay even more enjoyable. Everyone—from the front desk to housekeeping—was warm, helpful, and eager to ensure guests were comfortable. Their hospitality felt genuine. Extras: As a Marriott Bonvoy property, it’s well-run and caters well to both leisure and business travelers. I stayed at the Mangrove in February and it felt like a resort and the service was exemplary! Food, beach, resort and customer service was top notch and cost less. The front desk was not accommodating at the renaissance and the staff except a very kind bellman was kind. when I asked for a refund for a day I couldn’t make it down to the resort for a flight that was cancelled to Cuaracao by AA, the hotel staff would not accommodate my request. The rooms were average at best and housekeeping was lax. I had to request to have by room cleaned each night. I give this hotel a 3 out of a 10. It doesn’t have the Marriott charm.

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We had made reservations in another hotel, but after reading the reviews, we decided to come to the Renaissance; and it was great. There people like Isabel, Martina, Michelangelo, Ruth, Tyriq, Marlouse, Jorge, Alexis, Ashanti and Lenny work really hard to make your stay the most worry free stay you can have. Isabel and Martina in the morning fixing the best omelets. My wife is gluten intolerance, and Lenny and Marlouse made sure that gluten free pancakes and/or bread were available for her. Jorge, Tyriq and Ruth making sure your dinner time is great, Michelangelo and Ashanti welcoming you at the front desk, and Alexis greeting you with his positive energy at the front door. The place is really clean, the salt water infinity pool is very relaxing. The breakfast and dinner buffet are great. When we comeback to Curazao, we will be staying there.

The staff are all amazing. The service was amazing. This was not my first time staying here. The place is kept well and always clean. There could be some minor updates like the shower and the dressers in the room, but nothing to really complain about. I plan on coming back.
