「The Anchor Inn is an absolute gem! The rooms are a good size and well-appointed, if perhaps a little dated. Super friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble. The real surprise was the restaurant. I would recommend trying out the food, even if you're not staying at the Inn. The food was locally sourced, all fresh and well prepared and presented. 「Check was fast and easy. I was put in room 1 which kind of sat above the beer garden and so it was noisy. I requested a room change for something quieter and they gave room 4 which was perfect. Nice and quiet and got a good nights sleep. My only criticism was that although there was tea and coffee there was no milk options so had to go buy milk and there was no shower gel or soap in the toilet shower area.
