I hate to give this property a poor review as the staff was friendly and the hotel has an amazing history, but I wouldn't want a family to check in thinking this was a normal hotel. It is a hotel in transition. The listing on Expedia is completely incorrect, it isn't a Ramada or a Wyndham and there is no free breakfast. It is a hotel with a great history that is going through something.

The staff was nice. The place is old so it looks old and smells old. It wasn’t dirty, just old. The beds were comfortable enough. They could use new pillows. The worst was the Main Street to the place is under construction so it was hard to figure out how to get in. The elevators are a little scary,but, again the place is old.

The property had been condemned by the city one week before my reservation. Gas leaks, plumbing burst, black mold. Two people at the desk explained this to me. I texted with an Expedia employee to make sure I wouldn’t have any charges for a place that was condemned. I should have been notified.

Do not stay at this hotel! Curtains were falling off of the windows, bathroom lights flickering/not working, charged my credit card again even though I had already paid through Travelocity. Said I should contact Travelocity for a refund. Overall property was creepy, outdated and parking garage/property felt unsafe. Called as soon as I got to my room to cancel and was still charged!

There was no security cameras in the garage and entryway into the back hallway to the rooms. The garage was also extremely broken up and rough to drive through. TV didn't work. Reported it on the first day of stay. Still wasn't resolved when I checked out. Couldn't find any way of controlling the temp. Mgt was unwilling or on able to adjust bill. Was able to speak with mgt the night before I checked out. He was in the bar. They did have a really good quality tp though. Really close to Wes Banco Arena

Do not book through Expedia! The hotel WILL NOT have your reservation if you do. This is what we ran into. You have to book it directly through the hotel. Expedia also has a false description of the property. They do not have a casino, or pool, or breakfast. The room had no heat, tv didn't work and the phone didn't work. The room was large, old but clean. The city is doing major constiction on the streets in front of the hotel so many roads are closed and almost all the businesses are closed as well.

First it is advertised as Ramada by Windham. It is not. The room was disgusting, and I am not a picky person. There were no drawers in the dresser, there was a bug in the bed, there was a pill on the floor along with other garbage, the sheets were dirty(Seriously not clean and wrinkled from the previous guests), no towels in the bath room. I am not making this up. We could not stay there and there were others at the front desk with similar stories. The front desk clerk was appologetic.
