「Classic hotel with a vintage feel. While it’s slightly old and the walls are thin, the exceptional service from the staff made up for it. Good location on the CBD fringe, close enough to walk to Queen Victoria Market.」

「> I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel— the view was spectacular and the room facilities were modern and clean. However, I found that the kitchen utensils were a bit limited, especially the cooking pots, which made meal preparation a little difficult. Also, the mattress was quite soft and made it hard to get a comfortable night’s sleep. > >I hope the hotel can consider these points for future improvements, but overall it was a pleasant experience.」

「I didn’t particularly like the fragrance they use for the room but I got used to it after the first day. There was a pool of water in the drawer of the cabinet housing the sink which I had to clean up but I suppose the fact that the bottom of the drawer is black meant it wasn’t easy to spot. In terms of location it’s not really that ideal as it’s a little far from the tram stop. I agree with sone of the other reviews commenting on the lack of choice and the sausages were quite hard.」

「Good location, just a lot of construction when I stayed and when I asked staff what ammenities they had ie slippers etc, they weren’t very helpful. Took asking 3 different people to get a proper answer」

「I was just finished 6 nights at this Hotel. The hotel room is spacious enough for my family of 2 adults and 1 kid. The hotel room can view four train tracks and riverside which’s quiet lovely, especially my son loves to see the trains. However, there was noise coming from outside during night and morning. If you needed quiet sleep, you need to consider of this. Kitchen was clean and old fashioned but not the pan for cooking was not good enough. No room service, breakfast needed to purchased...
